Did you ever feel like you were drowning in debt? Was there one lifesaver moment that made you realize that your debt wasn’t inescapable? We want to showcase your lifesaver moment & show people that you can increase your financial literacy with external help.
We have surveyed Canadians about their own lifesaver moments and found some interesting stats – for example 60% of people surveyed said their most trusted financial lifesaver is their financial advisor, and 42% of people said a family member has been the most positive influence on their finances. And when it comes to their lifesaver lesson, 71% of Canadians say “live within your means” is the best piece of financial advice they’ve ever received.
